How We Fund
The Foundation provides grants to a range of charities and not-for-profit organisations across our four funding pillars: Arts and Culture, Jewish Community Grants, Health and Welfare (including Early Childhood Development) and the Environment.

Applications to the Foundation are by invitation only.
Granting Guidelines
ELIGIBLE ORGANISATIONS
The Besen Family Foundation is a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF) and can only approve grants to organisations endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient Type 1 (DGR1) status and which are charitable and Income Tax Exempt.

GRANT ACQUITTAL
​
Grantees are required to complete an Acquittal Report within three months of the completion of their project. Grants must be acquitted prior to submitting an application for subsequent funding.
