A MESSAGE TO OUR GRANT RECIPIENTS AND GRANT APPLICANTS

The Besen Family Foundation is committed to working with our grant recipients and applicants to reduce the impact of COVID-19 and assist where we can in these difficult times.

Our Operations Will Continue Remotely

From Monday, March 16 we will be working remotely and our office in Richmond will be closed until further advice.

We have done this in accordance with the advice of public health experts to promote and support social distancing where possible.

For now we have also cancelled all in-person events at our office and all travel to grant recipients' offices for meetings.

Remote Access

We are able to work remotely and will reply to your emails as promptly as possible.

If you need to speak to us about an existing grant project or a new application for funding in the grant round which is currently open, please contact us by email at info@besenfoundation.org.au. In your email please set out your question and the best number to contact you on and we will respond as quickly as we can.

June 2020 Grant Round

Our June 2020 open grant round will continue as planned with applications closing on 27 March.

However, if due to delays at your workplace caused by the measures put in place to respond to COVID-19 you are unable to submit your application by this date, please contact us before 27 March at info@besenfoundation.org.au to request an extension.

Revisions and Variations To Projects Funded Through Previous Grant Rounds

We are aware that a number of projects funded by the Besen Family Foundation in the 2019 Grant Rounds will be impacted by COVID-19.

Please feel free to contact us by email to discuss any necessary revisions to project timelines and to notify us of delays or postponement.

Arts & Culture Program

We understand that many of our Arts & Culture grant recipients may now find part or all of their projects likely to be cancelled or postponed and we are keen to work with you to determine how your Besen Family Foundation grant can be best applied or deferred.

Ongoing Project Commitments

The Besen Family Foundation will work to ensure that pledge commitments which are due to be paid in June 2020 will be still be made as per our scheduled arrangements.

We are committed to supporting our grant recipients and partners in this time of difficulty in our community.

It is a privilege to support the vital role you play in our community and we stand by you in this time of challenge and uncertainty.
